Here self storage Salisbury is site number 3 of a growing self storage company that have existing expansion plans over the next 2 years.
Role Description
The Sales Representative role is a full-time, on-site position based in Salisbury, responsible for driving occupancy and revenue.
On a day-to-day basis, this role includes:
- Greeting and assisting prospective customers
- Conducting facility tours
- Explaining storage options
- Managing inquiries in person, by phone, and online
The Sales Representative will:
- Generate and follow up on leads
- Convert prospects into rentals
- Support local marketing activities to increase visibility and customer traffic

- Processing rental agreements
- Handling payments
- Maintaining accurate records in management systems
- Collaborating with operations staff to ensure a professional, customer-focused environment
The role requires consistent on-site presence, reliable time management, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and service standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales and customer service skills, including lead follow.
- Experience with basic marketing and promotional activities, such as local outreach, online listings, and supporting customer acquisition campaigns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain services clearly and respond to diverse customer needs in a professional manner.
- Comfort with using computers and business software (e.g., CRM systems), and handling documentation and payment processing accurately.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on achieving performance targets while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Salisbury on a full-time schedule, including reliability in attendance and time management. This role is 5 out of 7 days and does include weekend working.
