About LEC
Founded in 1951, London Export Corporation (LEC) is one of the UK’s longest-established international trading companies. Today, LEC is building and developing the next generation of technology businesses, with a particular focus on robotics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent automation.
About LEC Robotics
LEC Robotics brings advanced commercial robotics and AI-powered automation solutions to businesses across the UK and Ireland. Working with leading global robotics manufacturers, we help organisations identify, deploy, and scale robotic solutions across hospitality, healthcare, retail, corporate environments, foodservice, facilities management, and other commercial sectors.
Robotics is moving rapidly from emerging technology to real-world commercial deployment. As adoption accelerates across the UK, we are expanding our sales team to capture the significant opportunity ahead.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Representative to join LEC Robotics during an exciting period of growth. You will work with a strong pipeline of inbound enquiries while also identifying and developing new business opportunities across a range of sectors. This is a hands-on sales role with responsibility for the full commercial journey: engaging prospective clients, understanding their operational challenges, presenting appropriate robotics solutions, developing relationships, and progressing opportunities through to close.
The successful candidate will be confident communicating with decision-makers, highly organised in managing a busy pipeline, and proactive in maintaining momentum throughout the sales process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
