A Day in the Life

In this field-based sales position, you will be responsible for growing the Operating Room Essentials portfolio through territory planning, opportunity management, customer engagement, and clinical support. The role focuses on developing sustainable business growth, leading product conversion opportunities, and building relationships with healthcare stakeholders across NHS and private healthcare.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales targets across the Operating Room Essentials portfolio within London and South East
  • Build, maintain, and advance a robust pipeline of sales opportunities using customer relationship management tools
  • Lead suture conversion projects by developing and executing account-specific implementation plans
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across NHS and private healthcare customers
  • Collaborate with Surgical Territory Managers and the ConnectMe remote sales team to drive portfolio growth
  • Educate and train healthcare professionals on the clinical benefits and appropriate use of Operating Room Essentials products
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical stakeholders, procurement teams, and decision-makers
  • Support regional and national sales initiatives, meetings, workshops, exhibitions, and customer education programs

Required Qualifications

  • Experience selling medical devices, healthcare products, or clinical solutions to hospital customers
  • Experience managing sales opportunities and territory pipelines through a customer relationship management platform
  • Knowledge of NHS and healthcare purchasing processes
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree-level education
  • Proven success delivering theatre consumable conversion projects, including suture conversions
  • Demonstrated sales growth and new business achievement
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional commercial teams
  • Experience negotiating with senior hospital stakeholders and procurement decision-makers
