Job Description:

Sales Representative – Industrial Welding Equipment & Solutions

UK South | ESAB & EWM

As a Sales Representative Industrial Welding Equipment & Solutions, you will play a key role in driving growth across the South of the UK. You will develop sales of Heavy Industrial Products (HIP), Digital Solutions (DS), and Robotics across both ESAB and EWM brands, while working closely with Field Sales Representatives, distributors, customers, and system integrators.

What you’ll do:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify customer potential and develop growth plans for HIP, DS, and Robotics
  • Develop new customers and business opportunities across the territory
  • Build and manage relationships with system integrators and distributors
  • Value-sell ESAB and EWM solutions to customers
  • Manage the sales funnel and achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Conduct regular customer visits and develop account plans

Technical & Market Expertise

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the ESAB and EWM product portfolio and key differentiators
  • Provide technical and commercial guidance to customers and partners
  • Collect market feedback on customer needs, competition, and technical requirements
  • Work closely with Field Sales Representatives, Sales Management, and Product Management

Commercial Excellence

  • Maintain accurate CRM, opportunity, and contract information
  • Follow commercial standard work and actively manage the sales pipeline
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer value and business performance

What we’re looking for:

Education: Technical college or secondary-school level

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the welding industry

Technical: Experienced MIG/TIG/MMA welder or strong welding industry knowledge

Skills: Sales-focused, proactive, persuasive, and customer-oriented

Languages: Local language C1 + English A2/B2 depending on reporting structure

Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 3–4 days per week
