Sales Representative – Medical devices and consumables

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 basic, £7,000 to £8,000 commission
The Role:
The successful candidate will enjoy a mix of new business and account management within a well-established territory of this global medical, pharma & biotech company. You will provide educational information, informed product-specific advice, and demonstrate the practical operation of specialist products; rheumatology, orthopaedic, ultrasonic products. This includes joint recovery and pain relief, portable scanners, and tissue regenerating equipment.

Working closely and collaboratively with experienced sales colleagues. Typical contact level will be orthopaedic surgeons, ODPs, theatre managers, MSK professionals, professors of rheumatology, nurses, and procurement. This is a field-based role, out seeing customers daily with a couple of days in theatre per month.
Company:
A well-established, exclusive distributor of rheumatology, ophthalmology, and orthopaedic products medical devices, equipment, and consumables and capital equipment. A medium-sized company backed up by a network of subsidiaries, agents, and partners with a family firm foundation. They will fully fund your ABPI qualification if you don’t have one.

Requirements:
- Medical field sales experience with a hunger for exceeding targets and driving growth.
- Good anatomy and physiology knowledge.
- Full driving licence with less than 6 points.
- Territory – Midlands - key areas are Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, and Birmingham.
The Package for Sales Representative:
- Basic Salary: £40,000 - 45,000
- Commission/Bonus: £7,000 to £8,000
- Car allowance: £500 PCM (£6,000 per year) plus generous mileage allowance
- Benefits: Pension, 25 days holiday + stats
