We are now looking for a Sales Representative to join our Packaging & Hygiene Solutions.
Packaging & Hygiene Solutions business unit specializes in innovative solutions that enable customers to create fiber-based products suited for a circular economy and replacing plastics, while optimizing resource efficiency, product performance, and quality. The business unit serves paper, board, tissue, and molded fiber packaging manufacturers across the globe.
This position is based in the Midlands area of the United Kingdom and is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets and developing profitable business within the market. You will also understand the complexities of providing reactivation services within the pulp and paper marketplace.
- Supporting in the preparation of short and mid-range sales plans to reach nominated targets and supporting the development of the demand forecast and strategies for achieving results.
- Retaining long-term customer relationships with established accounts projected to generate future sales and repeat business.
- Assisting with establishing sales plans, visiting existing and new customers, assessing customer needs, improving brand and product awareness, and suggesting appropriate solutions.

What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, or other science related degree or equivalent.
- Proven sales experience and strong technical background gained in the paper industry market, ideally with a knowledge of Biocides, Wet Strength Resins and polymers.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
- Customer relationship management and reporting, preferably with experience of Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel to support the team when required.
- Reliability, openness, empathy and assertiveness.

The starting base salary range for this role is between £43,785 – £51,082 per year. Salary ranges may vary depending on location and local market conditions. The actual starting salary will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, and wider business and organizational needs.
