Sales and Retentions Advisor | Full Time

£27,976 per annum + £8k OTE + Uncapped Commission

A little bit about us

One Utility Bill, and our dedicated student brand Fused Bills, are on a mission to make bills easier with a custom bills package and the option to split the bills with other bill payers. One payment means easier finances, less time on the phone to suppliers, and less admin. It’s a game changer for 49,000 happy customers and counting, but don’t just take our word for it. Check out our amazing reviews on Trustpilot!

The B2C Sales Team

Our B2C Sales Team works across both OUB & Fused and is core to our ambitious growth plans. We’re planning to add new advisors to the team monthly. The team is responsible for acquiring new customers to the business.

You will join one of our two sub-teams:

  • New Sales Team: Makes outbound calls to prospective customers with the aim of getting them signed up to an OUB/Fused package through objection handling, key discovery, and accurate pitching.
  • Retentions Team: Takes inbound calls from current customers who are looking to cancel their OUB/Fused package through excellent customer service and objection handling skills.

No matter the sub-team, all advisors are confident in their ability to promote the benefits of OUB and Fused and close the deal or save the package!

What you’ll be doing

This is a phone-based role, so you’ll spend a lot of the time speaking to potential or existing customers, representing OUB and Fused. Additionally, to be successful in this role, your admin and organizational skills need to be on point too, as you’ll have your own pipeline to manage, quotes to create, and emails to send.

Depending on which sub-team you join, you may have slightly higher or lower KPIs due to the different lead sources and teams, so we’ve used the average across the three to give you an idea of what success looks like:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
