Sales & Service Adviser

Salary: £26,700 to £29,650

A bit about the job:

As a Small Business Insurance Adviser, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding sales and customer service across our small business insurance products. Working within a Delegated Underwriting Authority, you'll manage customer interactions from point of sale through to policy amendments, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring customers receive expert support and tailored solutions. You'll play an important role in balancing customer needs with risk considerations, whilst contributing to business growth through identifying improvements and delivering excellent customer outcomes. This role is part of a collaborative team focused on providing a seamless, compliant, and high-quality customer experience.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience in a customer service, sales, insurance, or contact center environment.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and make informed decisions in a non-scripted environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to handle complex customer conversations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage workload, prioritize activities, and meet performance targets.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and the importance of delivering compliant customer outcomes.

  • Starting salary between £26,700 to £29,650 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
