Sales Showroom Manager | Furniture & Interiors

Shoreditch, London | Full-time | £50,000+ base + performance bonus | OTE c.£65,000
Contemporary Furniture | Showroom Sales | Retail Sales | Interior Design | Upholstery

We are working with a growing, design-led furniture brand to appoint an experienced Sales Showroom Manager for its Shoreditch showroom.

This is first and foremost a sales-focused showroom role for someone who understands premium furniture, interiors and considered higher-value purchases.

Please note: Saturday is an important trading day and some Saturday working is required. This will operate on a sensible team rotation rather than expecting one person to work every weekend.

The Opportunity

The business has built a strong direct-to-consumer following around beautifully designed contemporary upholstered furniture, collaborating with internationally recognised designers and placing product, comfort and adaptability at the centre of the brand.

With an established online customer base and increasing showroom traffic, the business is now looking for someone commercially minded to take ownership of the Shoreditch showroom, maximise sales and help develop its physical retail strategy.

You will work with customers who have often already discovered the brand online, helping them understand the collection, fabrics, finishes, configurations and specifications before confidently converting that interest into a sale.

Alongside retail customers, you will also develop relationships with interior designers, residential trade clients and other design professionals.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day commercial performance of the showroom and deliver a highly considered customer experience from initial conversation through to order.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Driving showroom sales, conversion and commercial performance
  • Converting appointments, walk-ins and online-generated enquiries into sales
  • Advising customers on furniture, upholstery, fabrics, dimensions, finishes and configurations
  • Building strong long-term relationships with customers
  • Developing relationships with interior designers and residential trade clients
  • Increasing showroom footfall through events, collaborations and local partnerships
  • Supporting product launches, showroom events and brand activity
  • Monitoring conversion, sales performance and average order value
  • Maintaining clear customer follow-up and visibility across orders
  • Working closely with customer service, operations and commercial teams
  • Ensuring the showroom consistently represents the quality and personality of the brand
  • Contributing ideas to how the business approaches showroom retail rather than simply operating an existing formula

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience with a respected furniture retailer, contemporary furniture brand, upholstery company, design showroom or premium interiors business would be particularly relevant.

Retail + Trade

The immediate priority is to continue growing an already successful direct-to-consumer retail business.

This is not a traditional contract furniture sales role.

However, there is significant potential to increase business from interior designers and residential trade clients, so an understanding of the design and trade market would be highly valuable.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time, showroom-based position in Shoreditch, London.

Some Saturdays must be worked.

Saturday is an important sales day for the showroom, so applicants need to be comfortable working Saturdays as part of a team rotation. You will not be expected to work every Saturday.

Salary + Bonus

£50,000+ base salary, depending on experience.

The business also offers a team-based performance bonus, rewarding the showroom's collective commercial success rather than creating competition between individual team members.

With strong performance, the wider package could reach approximately £65,000.

Why Join?

The foundations are already there: a distinctive product, strong design credentials, an established online customer base and a successful Shoreditch showroom.

The next stage is about becoming more commercially sophisticated while retaining the energy and personality that built the business.

For the right person, this is much more than managing a shop floor.

It is an opportunity to own an important sales channel, influence the brand's approach to physical retail, and help shape the next generation of its London showrooms.
