About the Role

CR3 are currently representing a well-established, global technology business that specialises in delivering cloud-based software and network security solutions to organisations across the education, public sector, and commercial markets.

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Sales Solution Engineer to join our growing team. This is not a purely technical role. We are looking for someone who enjoys building trusted customer relationships, confidently engaging with senior stakeholders, and leading strategic projects from initial discovery through to successful deployment.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for helping customers achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Success & Account Management

  • Build strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted technical advisor.
  • Lead customer-facing engagements both remotely and on-site.
  • Manage strategic customer deployments from discovery through implementation and successful adoption.
  • Understand customer goals, challenges, and technical environments to design effective solutions.
  • Confidently present technical solutions to IT leaders, school leadership teams, and senior decision-makers.
  • Resolve customer issues and technical challenges with professionalism and urgency.
  • Ensure customers achieve measurable value.

Technical Consulting & Deployment

  • Take ownership of strategic product evaluations, proof of concepts, and large-scale deployments.
  • Design and deliver technical solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across the product portfolio.
  • Provide technical guidance to both customers and internal teams throughout the sales and implementation lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across customer environments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
