We Are Hiring a Sales Solutions Lead - Healthcare
We are now hiring a Sales Solutions Lead - Healthcare to join our Healthcare Sales team and help drive the growth of our enterprise infrastructure and data centre business across the NHS.
About the Role
Working alongside Healthcare Account Managers, you will act as a trusted technical resource, engaging directly with customers to understand their technology strategies, business challenges and future ambitions. You'll help identify, qualify and develop opportunities across infrastructure, hybrid cloud and data centre solutions while positioning Phoenix as a long-term strategic partner.
This is a highly customer-focused role that combines technical credibility, solution-led selling and relationship building to support sustainable growth across our healthcare customer base.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Work alongside Healthcare Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships through regular technical engagement.
- Build trusted relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders across NHS organisations.
- Conduct customer meetings to understand technology roadmaps, priorities and transformation programmes.
- Identify and develop enterprise infrastructure and data centre opportunities across healthcare accounts.
- Lead discovery conversations and help uncover customer requirements and future initiatives.
- Qualify opportunities and engage specialist technical teams where appropriate.
- Act as a technical overlay to the Healthcare Sales team, supporting customer discussions and opportunity development.
- Help customers align technology solutions to business objectives and challenges.
- Coordinate workshops, discovery sessions and customer meetings with internal specialists.
- Support the growth and maintenance of a healthy infrastructure and cloud sales pipeline.
- Share market, technology and customer insight with the wider Healthcare team.

What Are We Looking For?
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies across on-premise, hybrid and cloud environments.
- Experience identifying and developing opportunities through consultative customer engagement.
- Ability to build credibility with senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to align technology solutions to customer objectives.
- Experience working alongside solution architects, consultants or technical pre-sales teams.
- Understanding of enterprise technologies including compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, backup and disaster recovery.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing opportunities and pipelines using CRM platforms.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer-facing technical, pre-sales, solution sales or consultancy role.
- Experience working with enterprise infrastructure and data centre technologies.
- Previous experience working with NHS organisations or wider public sector customers desirable.
- Knowledge of NHS technology strategies, procurement frameworks and digital transformation programmes beneficial.
- Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, networking, storage, backup and disaster recovery desirable.
- Understanding of managed services and professional services beneficial.

Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42).
What about hybrid/remote working?
Hybrid working is supported, with flexibility depending on customer and business requirements.
How many interviews?
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team, you can expect a two-stage interview process — one online and one in-person.
Important BPSS Check
