Van Haven is the UK’s leading VW Transporter specialist, known for more than 40 years of craftsmanship in bespoke van conversions. Every build is tailored, with all work completed in-house at the Dorset headquarters, ensuring quality and attention to detail. The team collaborates closely with customers to understand how they live, travel, and what they value, turning conversations into uniquely designed vans. Clients include well-known brands such as Red Bull, AFC, Mondraker, Top Gear, and Carwow, reflecting Van Haven’s reputation for excellence. Role Description
The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Shillingstone, responsible for guiding customers through the full sales process for bespoke VW Transporter conversions. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Welcoming and engaging visitors
- Understanding their lifestyle and requirements
- Presenting vehicle options and conversion packages
- Delivering clear, informed product demonstrations
- Preparing quotes
- Managing follow-ups
- Maintaining accurate customer records in the CRM system
- Coordinating with the design and build teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
The Sales Specialist will also support sales reporting, participate in training sessions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Communication skills: Strong clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
- Customer Service skills: Excellent, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering a positive showroom experience.
- Sales skills: Proven, including consultative selling, negotiation, and closing, ideally within automotive or high-value products.
- Training and coaching abilities: To help share product knowledge and sales best practices within the team.
- Sales Management or pipeline management skills: Including accurate forecasting and CRM proficiency.

Additional beneficial qualifications include:
- Familiarity with VW Transporters or automotive conversions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Preferred experience includes:
- Previous experience in retail, automotive, or specialty vehicle sales
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends
