Role Description
This full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role is based in Basildon and focuses on driving new business and nurturing existing client relationships in the SME telecoms market. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Identifying and qualifying leads
- Conducting consultative sales calls and meetings
- Presenting tailored telecom and cloud solutions that meet each client’s needs
- Preparing proposals and quotations
- Managing the sales pipeline
- Following up consistently to close opportunities
- Providing high-quality customer service
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Supporting training or product demonstrations for clients when required

The Sales Specialist is expected to:
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and customer experience
Qualifications
- Strong Sales skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, and pipeline management
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to present solutions clearly and build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- High-quality Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and client satisfaction
- Training and Sales Management skills, such as supporting product demonstrations and contributing to team sales initiatives
- Experience in B2B telecoms or technology solutions sales is highly beneficial
- Ability to work on-site in Basildon, meet targets, and manage time and priorities effectively
- Comfort with CRM tools, basic IT proficiency, and a data-driven approach to tracking performance
- Relevant vocational training or a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage
