About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join BT’s growing specialist sales function as a Connectivity Specialist, supporting a wide network of sales teams across small business, mid-market and corporate customers. This role plays a critical part in driving revenue through expert product support and commercial insight.

You will act as a subject matter expert across BT’s connectivity portfolio, including broadband, BT Net, Digital Voice and mobile solutions. Rather than owning a single patch, you will enable around 100 sales colleagues to sell more effectively – helping shape opportunities, improve conversion and maximise customer value.

It’s ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical sales knowledge with coaching and commercial thinking in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support and enable a large sales community to drive revenue across connectivity products
  • Provide expert guidance on broadband, networking and voice solutions to shape customer propositions
  • Identify opportunities to grow pipeline, improve conversion and increase deal value
  • Partner with sales teams across small business, mid-market and corporate segments
  • Contribute directly to sales performance through involvement in key or complex deals
  • Coach sales colleagues on product positioning, sales approach and deal strategy
  • Build credibility quickly as a trusted specialist within a network of: 100 salespeople
  • Analyse sales trends and recommend actions to improve commercial performance
  • Collaborate with product, marketing and commercial teams to align go-to-market activity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
