Team Overview
We’re looking for a Sales Specialist - Consumer Solutions to join our growing Consumer Solutions account development team. In this specialist sales role, you will partner with the wider sales organization to sell complex, high-value credit score and credit reporting solutions across TransUnion’s client portfolio, helping drive long-term customer growth and commercial success. The role is remote-based with occasional travel to TransUnion and client sites as part of our flexible working approach.
This position reports to the Sales Director - Consumer Markets. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Achieve annual revenue targets across the full range of TransUnion client sectors by identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Produce compelling sales presentations, proposals and supporting materials that effectively communicate the value of TransUnion’s Consumer Solutions portfolio.
- Lead and manage the full sales lifecycle for complex, high-value opportunities, engaging specialist resources as required to support successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain a strong network of market contacts to stay informed of customer challenges, competitor activity and emerging market trends.
- Manage high-profile accounts across broad geographic areas, supporting clients with diverse and complex business requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Consumer Solutions products, market dynamics, customer needs and industry developments.
- Lead negotiations and manage the contracting process between TransUnion and client organizations to secure long-term agreements and commitments.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to maximize revenue growth opportunities.
- Manage and grow strategic accounts and prospect relationships to achieve revenue objectives and long-term customer retention.
- Identify opportunities for new products and solutions, contribute to business case development and advocate for innovation through the product development process.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- Extensive experience in a client-facing strategic sales role, including selling complex solutions through a full sales-cycle environment.
- Proven experience developing and managing high-value customer relationships while achieving revenue and growth objectives.
- Experience selling into, or working within, regulated industries such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Telecommunications, Utilities, Gaming or Gambling.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated with strong drive, commercial focus and accountability for managing and growing an assigned portfolio of accounts.

Required Technical Skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales opportunities, negotiations and contracting processes.
- Strong sales-planning, account-management and pipeline-management capabilities.
- Ability to develop persuasive proposals, presentations and business cases that support complex solution sales.
- Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel occasionally to customer and TransUnion locations.

- Knowledge of the data, analytics, credit or credit reporting industry.
- Experience working with credit bureau, decisioning, risk, identity or fraud-related solutions.
- Experience collaborating across matrixed sales and product organizations.
- Understanding of consumer credit market trends and regulatory considerations.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and contribute to product innovation initiatives.
