By prioritizing well-being, we build a workplace where personal and organizational success grow together.

Hitachi is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our Grid Integration team. This role focuses on driving growth across Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Renewables, Data Centre & Transport segments, utilising Gas, Hybrid & Air Insulated Switchgear solutions. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, engaging customers early in their project lifecycle, and positioning Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice through value-based, solution-oriented selling.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Drive sales growth for Grid Integration solutions within the Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Data Centre, Renewables, Industrial and Transport segments.

  • Promote and sell Gas (GIS), Hybrid & Air Insulated solutions (AIS) and broader substation technologies.
  • Develop and execute account plans for utilities, industrial customers, renewable developers, and key partners.
  • Identify market opportunities and create strategies to increase market share and profitability.

  • Collaborate with engineering, proposal, and project teams to develop compelling technical and commercial solutions.
  • Support bid management activities, including proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and customer presentations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
