Job Description

Role Summary
Join our collaborative sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute as a PSX Sales Specialist. You will increase revenue and build lasting relationships with customers while representing our Olink portfolio of scientific products and services. Working in a supportive environment that values achievement and innovation, you'll help enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
Responsibilities:
- Grow overall revenue from Olink Portfolio
- Understand the major drivers and limitations of the market in the relevant territory
- Continuously drive territory visibility (contact and projects) and win rate
- Drive the externalization strategy of Olink partnering with Core Labs and CRO's, and other potential strategies defined
- Map key accounts and manage Service Providers growth under assigned responsibility
- Manage existing and new biomarker discovery projects within these accounts
- Provide technical presentations to potential clients interested in protein biomarker discovery
- Provide study design guidance in collaboration with FAS team to ensure client satisfaction
- Present complex material to potential customers interested in protein biomarker discovery
- Bring creative solutions to clients and understand the value drivers within their organizations
- Maintain updated customer and opportunity information in Salesforce
- Learn and systematically apply the Thermo Fisher Sales Process
- Maintain knowledge of competitive products and technologies
- Work closely with Inside sales, Project Coordinators, FAS, Data Scientists, Scientific Affairs and the wider organization to maximize commercial success
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans through consultative selling
- Serve as a trusted advisor to help customers advance their scientific goals through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement

Requirements:
Education:
- BSc, MS or PhD in Biology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related scientific field
Experience:
- Several years relevant sales experience preferred, preferably in laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries
- Proven track record of performance in a customer facing role and a KPI driven organization
- A relevant network of contacts within territory
- Strong deal sheet with demonstrated ability to "close" business
- Technical experience within the immunoassays or biomarker field is a plus

Skills and Competencies:
- Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows, particularly in affinity proteomics market
- Ability to influence and strong persuasion skills
- Strong achievement motivation and perseverance with a sales hunter mentality
- Ability to win market share on a mature market
- Combination of hunter and account manager mentality
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships at all levels
- Ability to reveal and understand customer needs
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite
- Utilizing data and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for sales strategies
- Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
- Demonstrates the ability to operate independently and strategically to achieve individual and corporate goals
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50-75% within assigned territory
- Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
