Investment Sales Strategist

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic investment professional to join our European Sales Strategy Team. The team is a key resource for our sales and relationship management teams, providing insights on market trends and equipping colleagues to engage with clients on key opportunities.

The Sales Strategist will support the development and execution of our sales strategy across market channels. They will be a key subject matter expert on investment management trends and issues in the pensions (DB&DC) and wealth management sectors, engaging with internal stakeholders and supporting client and prospect engagement.

The strategist will work closely with our senior strategists, sales executives, and relationship management teams to help drive and coordinate sales execution across our channels and geographic markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Support development of client channel strategies across UK and Europe.
  • Prepare market, competitor, and client insights for strategy and sales planning.
  • Contribute to identification and analysis of growth opportunities.

Sales Enablement

  • Coordinate content and materials for client and consultant meetings.
  • Maintain and enhance sales tools and collateral.
  • Support preparation for reviews and pipeline discussions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Product, Marketing, Investment, Legal/Compliance, and Operations.
  • Assist senior strategists in multi-stakeholder workstreams.

Governance & Process Support

  • Prepare materials and assist with follow-ups for internal governance forums and boards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in an investment management firm or consultancy.
  • Familiarity with investment management client channels.
  • Highly organised and proactive.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Working towards or completion of the CFA is preferred.
