The Position

Vince, is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Full-Time Sales Supervisor to join our new retail concession shop within Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be instrumental in driving sales and fostering meaningful customer relationships. You will maximize sales opportunities by identifying customer needs and delivering personalized service, ensuring that each client leaves with an exceptional shopping experience. You will continue client engagement beyond the initial transaction by capturing key customer information and utilizing various communication channels to build lasting relationships.

In addition to your sales responsibilities, you will assist in maintaining the store’s visual merchandising and housekeeping standards. You will be involved in receiving merchandise, ensuring it is properly displayed, processing markdowns, and handling transfers. The Key Holder must also be proficient in operating our point-of-sale (POS) register system and email communication tools.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise features and benefits to enhance sales opportunities
  • Actively engage with customers, listening to their needs and overcoming objections to drive sales
  • Build long-term relationships with customers through follow-up contact, including phone, email, and written communication
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and housekeeping
  • Operate the POS register system and email tools effectively
  • Maintain elevated standards of visual merchandising, store presentation, and housekeeping at all times
  • Manage and maintain a client book, utilizing clienteling practices to foster customer loyalty
  • Safeguard store inventory through adherence to loss prevention procedures
  • Follow store operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in luxury or contemporary retail sales is preferred
  • Strong sales-driven, goal-oriented mindset
  • Positive, high-energy, and approachable personality with the ability to initiate customer interactions and assess their shopping needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative team-player attitude
  • Proficiency in retail POS systems, Word, Excel, and email
