Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Supervisor role based at the Jewson branch in Walton-On-Thames. The Sales Supervisor oversees daily sales floor operations, ensuring that customers receive excellent service, accurate product information, and timely support. This role includes:

The Sales Supervisor works closely with branch management to analyze sales data, implement promotional activities, and maintain appropriate stock levels. Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting staff training
- Resolving customer queries and escalations
- Promoting a safe, organized, and inclusive working environment
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to build relationships, handle enquiries, and manage escalations effectively.
- Team Management and Training skills to supervise staff, support development, and maintain high performance standards.
- Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, monitor key metrics, and contribute to branch planning and decision-making.
- Relevant experience in retail, trade, or building materials sales, ideally in a supervisory or team lead position.
- Ability to work on-site in Walton-On-Thames, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with basic IT systems and point-of-sale tools; experience with inventory or CRM systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction, or related industries is an advantage but not essential; willingness to learn is expected.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, safe working practices and collaborative teamwork.
