£40,000 – £50,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission (Estimated OTE: £60,000 – £80,000+)

About the Opportunity

Are you an ambitious sales professional with a proven track record in the UK courier and express parcel sector? We are expanding our transport and delivery network across the UK and looking for a high-performing Sales Supervisor to drive market development and client acquisition. In this role, you will lead new business generation with a special focus on scaling our Large Parcel Delivery solutions nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Development & Acquisition: Drive regional and national client acquisition for courier and parcel services to consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and expand relationships with business accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and continuous revenue growth.
  • Large Parcel Growth: Leverage your knowledge of the UK courier landscape with a dedicated focus on expanding our Large Parcel Delivery footprint.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Design and execute regional sales plans, monitor market dynamics and competitor activities, and grow overall market share.
  • Operational Alignment: Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to provide smooth, professional, and efficient logistics solutions.
  • Field Engagement: Conduct regular on-site client visits across the UK to build strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather customer feedback and industry requirements to guide future business development strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Location & Mobility: Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally for on-site client visits.
  • Communication: Excellent business communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.
  • Industry Experience: 3+ years of direct B2B sales experience within the UK courier, express parcel, or freight distribution industry.
  • Sector Expertise: Hands-on experience selling Large Parcel Delivery / IDW / Bulky Freight services is strongly preferred.
  • Track Record: Background working with established UK courier and transport networks (e.g., DX, XDP, BJS Distribution, FedEx, DHL, UPS, DPD, Tuffnells, or similar) is highly preferred.
  • Core Competencies: Deep understanding of UK courier market models, proven pipeline hunting skills, and the independence to consistently hit and exceed targets.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Base Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
  • Commission: Uncapped, performance-based commission structure
  • Estimated OTE: £60,000 – £80,000+ per annum
  • Mobility: Company car or car allowance provided
  • Tools: Mobile phone, laptop, and all essential equipment
  • Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid annual leave + 8 UK bank holidays
