Role Description

The Sales Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Leicester, responsible for leading and supporting a sales team to achieve revenue and customer service targets. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves managing key customer accounts, resolving service issues, and ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. The Sales Supervisor will collaborate with operations and finance teams to align pricing, stock availability, and delivery schedules with customer requirements. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Organizing training for team members
  • Preparing sales reports
  • Contributing to sales strategies and promotional activities

Qualifications

  • Strong Team Management skills, including the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a sales team.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and handle customer queries professionally.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Experience in Training team members, including onboarding, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Previous experience in sales supervision or a similar leadership role, ideally within food distribution or FMCG.
  • Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or sales management tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in Leicester, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Relevant qualification in business, sales, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
