Hours of Work: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (approximately 9 months, to cover maternity leave)

Your New Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Administrator to join our Distribution team on a full-time, fixed-term contract for approximately 9 months. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our Commercial team, preparing accurate quotations for customers and helping to ensure the efficient delivery of our sales processes. You will play a key role in supporting the team to deliver an excellent customer experience while contributing to the continued success of the business.

What This Role Involves
- Responding promptly and professionally to customer pricing enquiries, preparing accurate quotations within required timescales.
- Recording and maintaining customer quotations using the Company's Transport Management System and other internal systems.
- Following up quotations to obtain customer feedback and support business development opportunities.
- Receiving customer bookings, accurately inputting job details onto the Transport Management System and applying the appropriate pricing.
- Setting up and maintaining customer rate cards, ensuring agreed pricing structures are accurately recorded.
- Manually pricing transport jobs where required, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed commercial rates.
- Reviewing and approving customer and partner invoices, resolving any pricing discrepancies where necessary.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and colleagues to deliver a high standard of service.
- Maintaining accurate customer, pricing and operational records in accordance with Company procedures.
- Operating in line with Company policies, procedures and IT governance standards.
- Contributing positively to team objectives and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need
Essential
- A minimum of one year's administrative experience within a fast-paced office environment.
- A minimum of one year's experience using Microsoft Office applications and in-house databases or management systems.
- A high level of numeracy with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience preparing quotations, processing orders or undertaking pricing-related administrative duties.
- A confident and professional telephone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience delivering a high standard of customer service and acting as a first point of contact for customers.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a transport, logistics or distribution environment.
- Experience using a Transport Management System (TMS) or similar operational software.
- Experience setting up customer rate cards, pricing transport jobs or processing customer and partner invoices.
- An understanding of commercial pricing or sales support processes.
