About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Administrator to join our dynamic team here at Cables Direct. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within a professional environment, contributing to the overall success of our sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update customer portals with accurate and current information.
  • Process sales orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery.
  • Supplying ETAs and PODs from the Fedex website.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyse data to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to schedule meetings, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Handle correspondence with clients, including emails, phone calls, and enquiries.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations and promotional materials.
  • Support the team in organising events or campaigns aimed at boosting sales performance.
  • Maintain organised filing systems for contracts, invoices, and other relevant documents.
  • Liaise with other departments such as logistics and finance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Booking in orders with customer sites.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or sales support role is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
