About the role:
As part of the Renewables Team, the Sales Support Administrator will:
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Sales team.
- Coordinate the end-to-end tender process, ensuring all required information and documentation is gathered, completed, and submitted within agreed deadlines.
- Liaise with multiple internal departments to obtain the information required to support tender submissions and customer proposals.
- Support the management and tracking of sales opportunities, maintaining visibility of key activities, milestones, and deadlines.
- Assist with the coordination of large and complex tenders, including those driven by Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs), responding effectively to changing requirements and timescales.
- Maintain accurate sales records, documentation, and reporting to support effective pipeline management.
- Work closely with Operations and other internal stakeholders to support contract implementation and ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication between sales colleagues and key business stakeholders throughout the sales and tender process.
- Provide general administrative support to the Sales function, helping to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of this newly created role, identifying opportunities to enhance support for the Sales team and wider business.

Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally:
- Have an understanding of general office administration processes, including document management, record keeping, data entry, correspondence, and internal coordination.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Have strong attention to detail, ensuring data, documentation, and processes are completed accurately and consistently.
- Be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to support a variety of activities across the sales process.
- Have previous experience in an administrative, sales support, customer service, office support, or operational support role would be advantageous but is not essential.
