The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to provide day-to-day administrative and commercial support to our Business Development Managers as they secure new opportunities across electricity, water, and heat networks. You’ll be at the heart of the action, ensuring new enquiries are accurately captured, processed, and progressed in line with internal governance requirements.

From the moment an enquiry is received through to project handover, you’ll help coordinate information, support new project set-up, and make sure everything is managed efficiently and accurately. Your work will be critical in keeping projects moving smoothly and supporting business growth.

As a key member of the Sales & Commercial team, this role offers full visibility across the sales lifecycle and valuable exposure to utility infrastructure projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sales support, project coordination, and commercial administration - making this an ideal role for someone looking to build a strong foundation in the commercial side of the utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Business Development team.
  • Take ownership of the new enquiry process, ensuring all enquiries are logged, tracked, and progressed in accordance with internal procedures and governance requirements.
  • Maintain and manage accurate project and client information within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and pipeline visibility.
  • Support the preparation, distribution, and tracking of project documentation, proposals, and sales materials.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new projects, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are in place prior to operational handover.
  • Act as a central coordination point between Sales, Commercial, Technical, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Support and administer NAV and utility adoption processes, tracking milestones and proactively highlighting risks or delays.
  • Provide timely administrative support and updates for key clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with reporting on sales activity, pipeline status, and key performance metrics as required.
  • Manage diaries, meetings, and scheduling for the Sales team.
  • Support continuous improvement of internal sales processes, documentation, and administrative systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
