Job Title: Sales Support Administrator

Location: Darlington

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (flexible start/finish times)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Administrator to join a successful business based in Darlington. This is a varied role supporting sales operations, procurement activities, and general business administration.

Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, you'll help manage the full order process from preparing quotations and coordinating purchases through to delivery tracking, documentation, and customer support. This role requires someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Responsibilities Of Sales Support Administrator

  • Prepare quotations and process customer orders
  • Coordinate purchasing activities and liaise with suppliers
  • Manage order updates, deliveries, returns, and queries
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and internal systems
  • Support account managers with administration tasks
  • Monitor shared inboxes and respond to enquiries
  • Assist with supplier communication and pricing requests
  • Support general office administration and stock management

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in administration, procurement, sales support, or a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and office systems
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
