The role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Assistant to join our busy sales team.
This is a hands-on role supporting the Sales Support Manager and Account Managers across a broad range of sales, administrative and customer-related activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage competing priorities and ready to jump straight in wherever support is needed to help drive sales and secure orders.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Sales Support Manager and Account Managers with day-to-day sales and administrative activities.
- Prepare accurate customer quotations and supporting sales documentation.
- Complete customer new-line forms, product setup information and other customer-specific documentation.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date product image and video libraries.
- Create and update customer presentations using PowerPoint and Canva.
- Support stock planning and monitor product availability.
- Oversee internal systems to ensure product, pricing and stock information is accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with internal departments to help progress customer orders and resolve queries.
- Respond promptly to requests from the sales team and customers.
- Help ensure sales opportunities, quotations and orders are followed through efficiently.
- Provide flexible support across the department wherever required to help drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.

Skills and experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Strong PowerPoint and Canva skills.
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
- Confident working with data, internal systems and detailed documentation.
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to take ownership of tasks.
- A collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in a sales support, customer service or commercial administration role would be an advantage.
