EAO Ltd, based in Burgess Hill, supports the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets and is also responsible for the sales and marketing of Sanyo Denki and Highland premium thermal and motion control products.

The Role.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Support Associate to join our team. This is a key role, providing proactive sales support to our Business Development Managers and their focus markets, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

You will be responsible for supporting customers with enquiries, quotations, orders and contracts, while helping to drive business growth through excellent service and efficient administration. The successful candidate will be organised, results-oriented, an excellent communicator and enjoy working collaboratively within a busy sales environment.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Provide comprehensive sales support to designated Business Development Managers.
  • Manage customer enquiries, quotations and administrative sales activities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support, lead management activities and ensure efficient progression of sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and activity records within CRM systems.
  • Assist with contract administration and sales documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across sales, customer service and marketing to achieve objectives.

About You.

  • GCSE Math’s and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a customer service or sales support role.
  • Strong customer focus with good commercial awareness.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with strong attention to detail.
  • An enquiring mindset and willingness to learn.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
