About Cosmic Equipment UK:

Cosmic Equipment UK is a growing company in an exciting high technology area at the forefront of new developments powering the green revolution. We are a dedicated, engineering-based organisation with the skills to meet the demanding needs of our growing customer base of semiconductor device manufacturers around the world. We develop solutions for testing challenging new green power technologies such as GaN and SiC, as well as for the latest generation of MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, SCR’s and bipolars. Headquartered in the UK, with applications and support facilities in Malaysia and Japan. We are part of the Cosmic Semiconductor Solutions Group and work closely with the other companies in Italy, Germany, The Netherlands and USA. We have a track record of investing in our people and work hard to ensure that all our staff are well informed, well trained and well-motivated to be completely responsive to our customer needs. Product development is core to our existence, and we have introduced a significant new product nearly every year since our origins in the early 1980's. Our Mostrak test platform has been through constant cycles of renewal, whilst always retaining compatibility. We operate seamlessly between our Engineering, Manufacture and Test, Customer Support and Technical Sales groups. Our success also lies in investing in and working closely with our external manufacturing base to ensure we are as responsive and nimble as possible whilst drawing on the experience and production efficiency of our family of dedicated CEM partners and OEM manufacturers. Above all, Cosmic is responsive.

About the Role

The Sales Support Coordinator provides administrative and commercial support to the sales function, helping to ensure enquiries, quotations, orders and customer requests are managed efficiently. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Technical Support and international teams, the role helps maintain accurate information, supports pipeline visibility and contributes to a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and support their progression through to delivery.
  • Coordinate quotations, customer enquiries and sales administration activities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM & Support Desk records, customer information and opportunity data.
  • Support customer proposals, onboarding and early engagement with prospective customers.
  • Manage the shared sales inbox and ensure enquiries are allocated and responded to promptly.
  • Support spare parts, repairs and after-sales activities.
  • Coordinate repair and returns processes, including customer communications and documentation.
  • Monitor consignment equipment and maintain accurate tracking records.
  • Support sales reporting, opportunity tracking and commercial activities.
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and progress actions.

Technical

  • Experience using CRM, sales administration or order management systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Personal

  • Highly organised with strong administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow actions through to completion.
  • Proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a Sales Support, Sales Administration, Customer Service or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience working with customers and internal stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting international customers or teams.
