Location: Remote Department: Sales Reports To: Sales Account Manager Employment Type: Full-Time hours from 8am to 4.30pm US EST Monday to Friday

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist to support our retail and department store business. The ideal candidate has experience working with national retailers, department stores, specialty retailers, or beauty accounts and understands the operational side of managing major retail partnerships.

This role will support the Sales team with account coordination, retailer communication, reporting, product launches, order management, sales analysis, and day-to-day account needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for key retail and department store accounts.
  • Assist Sales leadership with account management, retailer communication, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with buyers, planners, merchants, and retailer contacts.
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, line sheets, product information, and account materials.
  • Track sell-in, sell-through, inventory levels, forecasts, and account performance.
  • Support new product launches, seasonal programs, promotions, and retailer initiatives.
  • Coordinate product samples, retailer requests, pricing information, and account documentation.
  • Assist with purchase orders, order tracking, inventory availability, and delivery coordination.
  • Maintain retailer calendars, promotional schedules, and launch timelines.
  • Support preparation for buyer meetings, line reviews, and business reviews.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Identify potential issues with orders, inventory, launches, or retailer requirements and proactively follow up.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales support, sales coordination, account management, or wholesale experience.
  • Experience supporting department stores, national retailers, specialty retailers, or major retail accounts.
  • Beauty, cosmetics, skincare, personal care, fashion, or consumer products experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience communicating directly with retail buyers, planners, or merchandising teams.
  • Understanding of sell-in, sell-through, purchase orders, forecasting, inventory, promotions, and retail KPIs.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and retailer requests simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting accounts such as Sephora, Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, or similar retailers is highly preferred.

You understand the pace and requirements of department store and retail partnerships and can effectively support the Sales team while coordinating across multiple internal departments.
