Job Title: Sales Support & Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Portsmouth (PO6)
Hours: 07:30am-16:30 Monday to Friday (Office based)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + 10-15% bonus + 22 days holiday (+Statutory)

What's the role about?
This is a varied and fast-paced position that combines customer service excellence with proactive sales support. You'll act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring enquiries are managed efficiently, quotations are processed accurately, and opportunities are followed up effectively.
You'll work closely with sales, operations, and management teams to help deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone, email, web enquiries, and digital communication channels
- Prepare and issue quotations accurately and within agreed timescales
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate records within company systems and CRM platforms
- Follow up quotations, enquiries, and customer communications to maximise conversion opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of service throughout the customer journey
- Support proactive customer contact campaigns, including re-engaging dormant customers and identifying new opportunities
- Liaise closely with operations, estimating, scheduling, and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered effectively
- Arrange meetings and support commercial discussions with prospective customers
- Maintain accurate pipeline, customer, and activity records and provide regular updates on progress
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service and sales processes

Requirements
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in customer service, sales support, internal sales, telesales, account coordination, or business development
- Is confident communicating with customers by phone, email, and online channels
- Has excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple enquiries and priorities effectively
- Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer support
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and Microsoft Teams
- Enjoys working collaboratively across departments to achieve shared goals
- Brings a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude to everything they do
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, highways, engineering, or related sectors would be advantageous but is not essential
