BELL Lighting (British Electric Lamps Ltd), established in 1920, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of light sources and fixtures to the electrical wholesale industry. Today, our range spans lamps, commercial and industrial lighting, emergency lighting, sports lighting, smart lighting and more.
Our home is BELL House in Normanton, West Yorkshire, a purpose-built National Distribution Centre with extensive warehousing, quality control and testing facilities, alongside the teams that support our customers and continued growth.

Role Description
As a Sales Support Executive, you will be proficient in all aspects of customer support and sales administration in order to deliver an excellent customer experience at all times. You are responsible for representing the brand both positively and commercially during every customer interaction. The role requires attention to detail and a desire to provide an outstanding service through every aspect of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
- Process orders via email using a shared inbox
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional manner, dealing with all customer queries
- Respond to all incoming requests, taking ownership of customer enquiries
- Check stock availability, delivery dates and advise customers of any back-order dates
- Operate with a commercial awareness, actively promoting new products and promotions to customers both via phone and email
- Assist with keeping the order book organised by liaising with customers and updating orders on our ERP system (Epicor)
- Stay up-to-date on new products, services and policies, by attending regular technical training sessions
- Attend weekly customer support team catch up meetings
- Be able to multi-task & prioritise, self-serving workload from a shared inbox
- Release parts and orders into the warehouse for picking
- Update carrier performance statistics daily
- Use HubSpot to maintain customer data and update leads and deals as appropriate
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external clients
- A friendly, professional telephone manner and positive attitude
- A high focus and passion to provide the highest level of service to our customers
- Good IT skills with experience using Microsoft packages, including Excel
- Ability to quote pricing with knowledge of percentage or mark up from cost or discount percentages from our price files
- The ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- A working knowledge of HubSpot (desirable)
