Join us and be part of a mission-driven, independent publisher. You’ll work with a diverse group of people who share a passion for empowering researchers, educators, and institutions to shape the future.

About Sage:

Sage is a global academic publisher of books, journals, and library resources with a growing range of technologies to enable discovery, access, and engagement. Believing that research and education are critical in shaping society, Sara Miller McCune founded Sage in 1965. Today, we are controlled by a group of trustees charged with maintaining our independence and mission indefinitely.

Our guaranteed independence means we’re free to:

  • Do more – supporting an equitable academic future, furthering disciplines that drive social change, and helping social and behavioural science make an impact
  • Work together – building lasting relationships, championing diverse perspectives, and co-creating resources to transform teaching and learning
  • Think long-term – experimenting, taking risks, and investing in new ideas

About our Team:

The Library Sales team collaborates with academic, research, and library clients worldwide, assisting them in accessing and enhancing the value of Sage’s products and services. Working closely with Library Sales Managers, Customer Services, Circulation, Finance, Technical Support, and Operations teams, we play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

We concentrate on more than just excellent customer service. We establish enduring relationships that enable libraries to support learning, teaching, and research within their institutions, while promoting customer satisfaction, retention, and sustainable business growth. As a collaborative and customer-centred team, we closely support Sales Managers completing various administrative tasks allowing them to focus on selling.

We are hiring for two different roles!

We are recruiting for both an Sales Support Executive and Sales Support Manager for our Library division. These roles share the same core purpose and responsibilities, with the level determined by your experience, confidence working independently, and ability to shape recommendations.

We welcome applications from candidates across a range of backgrounds and will consider you for the role that best aligns with your skills and experience. If you have a preference for either position, please let us know in your application.

Salary ranges:

  • Sales Support Executive: £32,880–£38,000 (depending on skills and experience)
  • Sales Support Manager: £41,200–£47,500 (depending on skills and experience)

Both roles offer the opportunity to build strong relationships with library partners and across internal teams, contribute to our mission, and grow your career within a supportive, collaborative team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
