Sales Support / Office Administrator

South Molton | Full-Time | Temp to Perm

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour, negotiable for the right candidate

Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

The Opportunity

A well-established, successful family-run manufacturing business in South Molton is looking to welcome a new Sales Support / Office Administrator to its friendly and supportive team.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Sales Administrator, Sales Support Coordinator, Office Administrator, or Administrative Assistant.

The company has grown steadily in recent years and is known for its positive working culture, long-serving staff, and commitment to developing people. Offered on a temp to perm basis, this is a role where you can build a long-term career, not just take a job.

The Role

As Sales Support / Office Administrator, you will play a key part in the smooth day-to-day running of the office and act as a central point of communication across several departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and processing customer quotations
  • Talking to customers and handling enquiries professionally and confidently
  • Managing incoming and outgoing email correspondence
  • Processing customer orders and related documentation
  • Liaising with internal departments, including production, to ensure orders run smoothly
  • Providing administrative support to sales, marketing, and purchasing
  • Assisting with general office administration to keep things organised

This is a varied and engaging role where priorities can shift through the day, so the ability to adapt and re-prioritise is important.

You will ideally have:

  • A confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
  • The ability to cope calmly with changing priorities
  • Good attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Training will be provided, but the company is looking for someone who can learn by listening, pick things up quickly, and bring a general awareness to the work.
