Role Overview

The Sales Support Officer delivers accurate, timely, and compliant execution of UK sales support activities, including sales administration, pricing and promotional processes, and customer submissions. The role acts as a key operational contact between Sales teams, customers, and internal functions, ensuring smooth execution of commercial processes and supporting overall service delivery.

Vacancy Description

Sales Support Execution

  • Execute core sales support processes including sales reporting, pricing, and promotional administration, and customer submissions.
  • Ensure all activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain adherence to defined procedures and controls.

Customer & Operational Coordination

  • Act as a day-to-day contact for customers on operational matters.
  • Coordinate requests across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Master Data.
  • Resolve operational issues within defined frameworks and escalate where required.

Master Data & System Accuracy

  • Maintain and update customer and pricing data within systems (SAP, Salesforce).
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of master data supporting execution.
  • Support system and process consistency.

Pricing, Promotions & Administration

  • Execute pricing updates and promotional entries in line with approved terms.
  • Support administration of customer agreements and rebate processes.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in pricing and documentation.

Process Compliance & Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to processes and governance standards.
  • Identify and flag inefficiencies or risks.
  • Support improvements to ways of working.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain contact with Sales, Finance/FSSC, and Supply Chain.
  • Ensure clear communication of timelines and issue resolution.
  • Support alignment between commercial and operational execution.

What We Ask

  • 2-3+ years in sales support, commercial administration, or operational roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Structured and organized approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to work independently within defined processes.
  • SAP (preferred), Salesforce (desirable), MS Office (Excel essential)

  • Hybrid work schedule (2-3 days per week)
  • Salary: £28-30K

The UK Opco has significant growth ambitions over the next 3-5 years with the objective to become a key partner to UK retailers across branded and PL portfolios. The grocery sales team consists of 3 account managers, 1 sales support manager, and 3 sales support executives. The sales support manager will be responsible for the sales support team and reports into the head of the grocery. The head of grocery sits in the Management Team, and reports into the Managing Director.
