Sales Support Specialist | £30k-£35k
Belfast | Hybrid working | Permanent
Are you highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable working with customers, pricing, orders and suppliers?
Pimlico Banks are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join an established technology business in Belfast. You'll work across commercial, technical and finance teams, helping ensure customer opportunities and orders progress smoothly from initial quotation through to delivery and billing.
This is a varied role with plenty of responsibility and interaction across the business. You'll be involved in everything from preparing quotations and coordinating orders to dealing with suppliers, maintaining commercial information and keeping customers and colleagues updated.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing accurate customer quotations and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Coordinating customer orders from initial quote through to completion
- Working with commercial and technical colleagues to confirm pricing and requirements
- Liaising with customers regarding quotations, orders and progress
- Placing and managing orders with external suppliers
- Maintaining accurate information within CRM and business systems
- Monitoring outstanding quotations and helping progress opportunities
- Keeping track of customer projects, orders and key deadlines
- Working with Finance to ensure invoicing information is accurate and up to date
- Resolving queries and keeping customers and internal teams informed throughout

What we're looking for
You'll ideally have experience within sales support, sales operations, order management, commercial administration or another customer-focused commercial role.
You'll also need:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Confidence working with quotations, pricing and numerical information
- Experience using CRM, ERP or similar business systems
- Clear and confident communication skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership

Experience within a B2B, technical or service-based environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
This could suit someone currently working as a Sales Support Executive, Sales Administrator, Sales Operations Coordinator, Order Management Specialist, Commercial Administrator or Internal Sales Coordinator who is ready for a broader role with more responsibility.
