Location: Basildon, Essex (Carnival Business Park)

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales Support professional to join our team in Basildon.

The Role

As Internal Sales Support, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales function and managing relationships with a portfolio of customers. You'll be the first point of contact for many client enquiries, ensuring requests are handled efficiently while helping identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services.

Working closely with our Account Managers and Technical teams, you'll help deliver an outstanding customer experience from initial enquiry through to order completion and ongoing account support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of small and medium-sized customer accounts.
  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing a professional and responsive service.
  • Prepare quotations, process orders, renewals, and service requests accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer information within the CRM system.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell managed IT solutions and services.
  • Work collaboratively with technical and account management teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support the sales team with administration, reporting, and customer documentation.
  • Monitor contract renewal dates and proactively engage customers regarding renewals and service improvements.
  • Build strong customer relationships that encourage long-term partnerships.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, is highly organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in Sales Support, Internal Sales, Customer Service, or Account Coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a desire to contribute to business growth.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Desirable

  • Experience within an IT, Technology, or Managed Services (MSP) environment.
  • Knowledge of managed IT services, cloud solutions, or cybersecurity.
  • Experience using CRM or PSA (Professional Services Automation) platforms.
