Role Overview
Rare opportunity to join this market leader within Playground Equipment, Outdoor Gym Equipment, Sports and Fitness Equipment plus Park and Urban Furniture Manufacturer within an Internal Sales/Team Leader capacity, Office based near Leeds, Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm for the first 6 months, then you have the option to be home based 2 days a week.
The Role
- Location: Office based (near Leeds)
- Responsibilities:
- Selling the company's manufactured range of Playground Equipment, Outdoor Gym Equipment, Sports and Fitness Equipment plus Park and Urban Furniture.
- Managing an Internal Sales Coordination team of 3.
- Preparing bids and delivering the highest quality in customer service.
- Supporting and assisting an established field sales team.
- Dealing with a mixed market but with the focus being on Local Authorities, clients also include Housing Associations, Property Developers, Architects, Education and the Leisure Industry.
- Average order values are around £90k but projects can range from £5k to £250k++.
- Coaching and leading your internal sales team, regular one to ones, offering your team the support and back up for them to be successful.
- Supporting the sales teams by preparing proposals, quotes and tender documents tailored to your clients needs.
- Coordinate communication between sales, design and contracts delivery teams to ensure the smooth and accurate passing of key information, ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage and update the sales pipeline, CRM systems and reporting dashboards.

The Person
- Requirements:
- Must have led and managed an internal sales team.
- A lead from the front internal sales manager.
- Ideally sold to/dealt with Local Authorities or Contractors.
- A solution led person with a detailed approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Platforms.
- Ideally Tender or Bidding experience.
- Looking for a long term career.

The Package
- Compensation:
- Up to £34k basic salary (dependant on experience).
- Bonus.
