Role: Outbound Sales Team Lead (Primary Care)
Location: London (Hybrid — 3 days in office)
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Competitive + Incentives + Benefits
About the Role
Looking for a sales leadership role where you actually get to lead from the front, rather than just manage from behind a dashboard? If so, keep reading.
We’re recruiting for a London-based HealthTech platform tackling a massive, real-world issue: the UK healthcare staffing crisis. Over half of UK GP practices and 30% of NHS Trusts already use their tech to keep their teams running smoothly and save millions in the process. But with around 6,000 practices across the UK, there’s a huge market still waiting for a better way to operate—and we need someone to build the engine that reaches them.
As well as the team leadership piece, you’ll be on the phone, pitching to Practice Managers, running demos, and closing deals. Why? Because we don't believe you can effectively coach, set KPIs, or build incentive structures for a team if you haven't worked the pipeline directly. Once you’ve mastered the pitch and mapped the funnel, you’ll step up to hire, mentor, and lead a dedicated team of outbound SDRs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Months 1–6: Hit the phones, run platform demos, activate dormant accounts, and prove the outbound playbook works.
- Building the Team: Hire, train, and coach SDRs. You’ll listen to their calls, help them handle tough objections, and give direct feedback that helps them smash their targets.
- Fixing the Plumbing: Fine-tune our CRM, set up diallers and automated workflows, and build an outbound engine that actually runs efficiently.
- Designing the Rewards: Create incentive plans that motivate reps to perform while making commercial sense on a gross-margin basis.
- Reporting Upward: Keep track of the metrics that matter and give our executive leadership clear, reliable data on pipeline health.
Why You Might Want This Job
- Zero Fluff Leadership: You'll have total ownership of an outbound function, building it from the ground up with the autonomy to test tools, fix processes, and shape strategy.
- A Product That Solves a Real Problem: You're selling platform tech that saves primary care teams hours of administration and helps fix a broken system.
- Solid Support & Culture: They work 3 days a week out of a vibrant WeWork in London (with 2 days remote). You'll get a £200 home office stipend, 25 days holiday (plus your birthday off), a £500 annual L&D budget, a 4% pension match, and comprehensive health support including Spill mental health coverage.

What We Need From You
- Outbound Sales DNA: You’ve got a strong background in outbound sales management, call center leadership, or high-volume platform/SaaS sales.
- No Pride in the Process: You’re entirely comfortable picking up the phone and doing the work yourself before asking someone else to do it.
- Systems Savvy: You know CRMs, sequencing tools, and diallers inside out, and you know how to build a funnel that doesn't leak conversions.
- UK Work Rights: You must already have the right to work in the UK (we can’t offer visa sponsorship for this role).
