Sales Team Leader, EMEA – ICONIC GLOBAL TRAVEL MARKETPLACE
📍 London
🏢 Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
💷 £40.86 per hour PAYE
🌍 EMEA remit, with travel to key markets as required
Our client is redefining the guest experience by bringing premium in-home services directly to stays. From private chefs and photographers to massage therapists and personal trainers, these Services are already available across hundreds of cities worldwide.
We are looking for an experienced, target-driven Sales Team Leader to manage and develop a field sales team across the UK, France and Spain. This is a hands-on sales leadership role with a strong focus on team performance, coaching, sales operations, pipeline management and conversion.
You will manage a team of approximately nine junior field sales professionals who are responsible for taking leads through the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and client meetings through to closing and onboarding.
Each week, the team will receive new leads and will be expected to engage prospective service providers, secure meetings and convert suitable partners onto the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach and develop a field sales team across multiple EMEA markets.
- Set clear weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Hold regular one-to-ones, pipeline reviews and performance coaching sessions.
- Support the team throughout the full sales cycle, from lead allocation to closing.
- Track sales activity, conversion rates, pipeline health and individual performance.
- Identify underperformance and implement practical coaching and improvement plans.
- Build and improve sales playbooks, processes and reporting cadences.
- Use sales data to identify trends, gaps and growth opportunities.
- Own CRM accuracy, pipeline reporting and sales administration.
- Work closely with marketing, product, onboarding and operations teams.
- Share market insights and feedback with senior leadership.
- Ensure new hosts receive a consistent and high-quality onboarding experience.

Essential Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in sales leadership, sales operations, business operations or a commercial sales function.
- Previous experience directly managing and developing a sales team.
- Strong experience working in a target-driven sales environment.
- Proven responsibility for team sales targets, KPIs, pipeline performance and conversion.
- Clear evidence of achieving or exceeding commercial targets.
- Experience coaching junior sales professionals and managing underperformance.
- Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, including outreach, client meetings, negotiation, closing and onboarding.
- Experience using data to improve team performance and shape sales strategy.
- Strong CRM experience, ideally Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Experience working within a technology, marketplace, platform or high-growth business.
- Strong communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading teams across multiple countries or markets.
- Based in London and able to attend the office twice per week.

Nice to Have
- Experience working for a marketplace or platform business such as Uber, Treatwell, Deliveroo or a similar company.
- Experience selling to small or medium-sized businesses, independent partners or service providers.
- Understanding of the gig economy, side hustlers or owner-operated businesses.
- Experience managing teams across the UK, France and Spain.
- Experience using business intelligence or dashboarding tools.

- Sales productivity improvements.

- Weekly, monthly or quarterly KPI ownership.
