About Airbnb
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two Hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 4 million Hosts who have welcomed more than 1 billion guest arrivals in more than 100, 000 cities and towns located in 220+ countries and regions across the globe. Every day, Hosts offer unique stays and one-of-a-kind activities that make it possible for guests to experience the world in a more authentic, connected way.
Airbnb was born with a creative spirit, and it’s one of the most defining parts of our culture. We use our curiosity and imagination to come up with unconventional solutions. These are the ideas at the core of Airbnb:
- Our community is based on connection and belonging.
- Our creativity allows us to imagine new possibilities for people.
- Our responsibility is to all of our stakeholders.
- It takes a unified team committed to our core values to embody these ideas, and our fast-moving team is committed to leading as a 21st century company.
The Difference You Will Make
Just like Airbnb disrupted hospitality, Airbnb Services is redefining the guest experience by bringing premium in-home services directly to Airbnb stays. Airbnb Services offers 9 categories (chefs, photography, massage, personal training, etc.) across 260 cities, with new offerings and locations dropping regularly in the Airbnb app.
We're seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Team Leader to own and scale our host acquisition engine across EMEA. This is an operations-first leadership role: you will design and run the systems, processes, and analytics that power a high-performing field sales team, directly managing the Sales team across the region. You'll be the force multiplier behind the Sales team, ensuring every agent is equipped, accountable, and firing on all cylinders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and BI tools is a plus.
- Deep understanding of sales operations — pipeline management, conversion optimisation, territory planning, and performance frameworks.
- Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator, with the ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders.
- A scrappy, solutions-oriented operator who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and knows how to build structure where none exists.
- Familiarity with EMEA market dynamics and the nuances of operating across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Passionate about Airbnb's mission to create belonging and economic opportunity for hosts.
- Experience with or understanding of the gig economy, small business owners, or side hustlers is a plus.
