Base salary: £35,000–£45,000 + uncapped commission
OTE: £70,000–£90,000
Location: Victoria, Central London, SW1E
Working arrangement: Office-based

About the opportunity
Via is supporting a leading sports hospitality business to recruit a Sales Team Leader to join its Central London team.
This is a hands-on player-manager role for an experienced sales professional who wants to lead a team while continuing to sell and earn commission personally.
You'll manage and develop a team of New Business Executives selling premium corporate hospitality experiences around some of the world's biggest sporting events. Alongside coaching your team, you'll maintain your own sales pipeline, speak with senior decision-makers and close new business.
You'll also have the opportunity to recruit and develop new sales talent, shape outbound strategy and progress further into sales leadership as the team grows.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of outbound Sales Executives
- Manage team KPIs, activity levels, pipeline and revenue targets
- Run regular 1:1s, performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Listen to calls and provide practical coaching to improve performance
- Recruit and interview new Sales Executives as the team grows
- Deliver structured onboarding and sales training for new starters
- Develop junior salespeople into confident, high-performing professionals
- Monitor outbound activity, conversion rates and pipeline performance
- Identify performance gaps and put practical improvement plans in place
- Maintain a positive, competitive and accountable sales environment
- Continue to manage your own new-business pipeline
- Generate opportunities through outbound calling and prospecting
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers and high-value clients
- Present premium sports hospitality packages and experiences
- Negotiate and close new business
- Consistently achieve your own individual sales targets
- Work with senior leadership to improve sales processes and outbound strategy

What we're looking for
You'll ideally have:
- At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a sales team
- Around 3+ years of B2B sales, telesales, business development or outbound sales experience
- A strong personal track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Hands-on experience with cold calling and outbound lead generation
- Experience coaching, motivating and developing salespeople
- Confidence managing KPIs, activity targets and sales performance
- A genuine player-manager mentality – you're comfortable leading from the front and continuing to sell
- Strong closing and negotiation skills
- Confidence speaking with senior decision-makers
- A competitive, resilient and commercially driven approach
- The energy to work in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

We're open to sales leaders from a range of target-driven outbound environments, including B2B sales, recruitment, telesales, corporate hospitality, events, media, SaaS, financial services and other high-performance sales teams. Previous sports or hospitality experience isn't essential, although a genuine interest in sport, live events or premium hospitality would be a strong advantage.
