Sales Team Leader - Public Sector
📍 Yorkshire | Hybrid (2-3 days in office)
Are you an experienced technology sales professional ready to take the next step into leadership, or already leading a sales team and looking for a new challenge?
We're hiring a Sales Team Leader to lead a team focused on public sector, helping organisations leverage technology to improve services, drive efficiencies, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to combine sales leadership, coaching, and strategic growth within a well-established technology solutions business serving the public sector.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and Sales Executives
- Drive new business acquisition and account growth across Housing and Charities
- Run pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance planning
- Support complex opportunities and strategic customer engagements
- Develop sector expertise and identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with technical and service teams to deliver customer success

What we're looking for
- Proven success in IT, technology, managed services, or solutions sales
- Experience within a reseller, MSP, or technology provider environment
- Strong new business and account development skills
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading sales professionals
- Knowledge of public sector sales, procurement, or framework agreements
- Excellent communication, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
