Job Description

Ready to lead a sales team where data drives decisions, performance creates impact, and every customer conversation creates value? If you're passionate about building high-performing teams, using insight to influence outcomes, and helping businesses navigate a changing energy landscape, this could be your next move.

The Opportunity

As a Sales Team Manager within EDF Business & Wholesale Services, you'll lead a talented team responsible for delivering fixed-price electricity and gas contracts to businesses across the UK. You'll use sales data, forecasting and CRM insights to drive performance, support decision-making and help your team achieve ambitious commercial targets.

Alongside a salary from £58,000 plus our sales incentive scheme of £12,000 OTE, you'll join a hybrid team based in #Exeter, with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 days each week. You'll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Pricing, Operations, Product and Strategy, helping to embed our new customer management system and drive continuous improvement across the sales function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a leader who enjoys combining people management with commercial analytics. You'll be responsible for ensuring pipelines remain healthy, forecasts are accurate, and your team remains focused on delivering strong results. Your ability to turn data into action will directly contribute to profitable growth while supporting EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
