We’re looking for an organised, personable Sales Team Member who enjoys talking to customers, winning business and getting the details right.

At The Sussex Sign Company, you’ll be your customers’ main point of contact from their first enquiry through design, production, installation and aftercare. You’ll work closely with our specialist teams, keeping projects moving and clients informed.

Established in 1995, we’re an award-winning Sussex business producing signage, vehicle graphics and wraps, window and wall graphics, banners and exhibition displays.

Around 80% of your work will come from incoming enquiries. You’ll also follow up quotations, keep in touch with existing customers and look for opportunities to develop their business with us.

What you will do

  • Talk to customers by phone and email, understand their needs, budgets and deadlines, and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, follow them up confidently and turn enquiries into profitable orders.
  • Write clear design and production briefs, and keep our quoting and job-management systems accurate and up to date.
  • Check design proofs against the brief, manage customer feedback and record approvals.
  • Coordinate with Design, Production and Installation so specifications, job information and agreed timings are clear.
  • Keep customers informed, raise queries early and work with colleagues to resolve problems.
  • See jobs through to completion, ensure the information needed for invoicing is complete and check customer satisfaction afterwards.
  • Make keep-in-touch calls and identify opportunities for repeat orders and additional products.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
