Commercial Sales Trainee
Scotland | Full-Time | On-Site | Immediate Start
Sales is about more than making a sale. It’s about understanding people, identifying opportunities, and learning how strong customer relationships contribute to commercial growth.
Caledonia Group is looking for ambitious individuals to join our team as Commercial Sales Trainees, gaining hands-on experience across face-to-face sales, customer acquisition, and business development.
You’ll learn sales from the ground up while developing the communication, commercial awareness, and leadership skills needed to take on greater responsibility as you progress.

Your Role
As a Commercial Sales Trainee, you’ll work directly on live client campaigns, gaining experience in:

Beyond the Sale
We want you to understand why the numbers matter, not simply how to make a sale.
As you develop, you’ll learn how customer acquisition contributes to revenue, how campaign performance influences client growth, and how strong customer relationships can create further commercial opportunities.
For those who demonstrate the right attitude and performance, there is also the opportunity to develop into team leadership, campaign management, and business development.

Previous sales experience isn’t required. We’re looking for people who are:

- Commercially curious and interested in business
- Motivated by goals and measurable results
- Resilient and comfortable working outside their comfort zone
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Competitive but team-focused
- Keen to learn and take on responsibility
