Role - Sales & Transformation Lead - Global Wholesale

Location - Remote (ideally UK, possibly US)

Salary - Six figure package

Key Experience Needed

  • Strong understanding of the commercial models, challenges, and opportunities within organisations including Sysco, US Foods, Compass Group, Booker, and similar customers, ideally at a global level with a preference for the US market.

We're looking for an exceptional commercial leader to drive growth across Europe and North America for a fast-growing technology business transforming how global brands engage with the Foodservice and wholesale sectors.

This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic enterprise sales with hands-on leadership. As a player-coach, you'll lead from the front, winning major accounts while developing a high-performing sales team.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the global Foodservice wholesale market, ideally with significant experience in the US. You'll understand how major distributors and buying groups operate, know the commercial dynamics that influence purchasing decisions, and have credibility with senior decision-makers across the industry.

Experience working with or selling into organisations such as Sysco, US Foods, Compass Group, Booker, and other leading Foodservice wholesalers and distributors is highly desirable. An established network within these organisations, and across the wider Foodservice ecosystem, will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new business growth across Europe and North America.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting enterprise Foodservice customers.
  • Own complex, high-value sales opportunities from initial engagement through to contract signature.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team while remaining actively involved in strategic accounts.
  • Leverage your industry network to create new commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure market insight shapes future strategy.
  • Represent the business at major industry events and build credibility as a trusted industry expert.

You'll Have:

  • Deep knowledge of the global wholesale market, with particular expertise in the US Foodservice landscape - key experience with the likes of Sysco / US Foods / Compass / Bidfood at a global level would be a huge advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial models, challenges, and opportunities within organisations including Sysco, US Foods, Compass Group, Booker, and similar customers.
  • A proven track record of securing complex, multi-million-pound (or dollar) enterprise contracts.
  • Experience leading and developing successful sales teams within a high-growth environment.
  • A strong network of senior relationships across Foodservice distributors, wholesalers, and buying groups.
  • A commercially driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for winning new business.
