Salesforce Administrator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organisation, who are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join their Salesforce team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Salesforce Administrator who enjoys more than simply managing a CRM behind the scenes. You'll work directly with customers to understand their requirements, configure Salesforce solutions, provide technical support and help users get the most from the platform.

You'll be joining a team that uses Salesforce to deliver a specialist client-recording system for organisations, giving you the opportunity to use your Salesforce skills in a role with genuine social impact.

The Role

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will work with external organisations to understand their information needs and business processes before designing and configuring Salesforce solutions to meet those requirements.

You'll also provide technical support to existing customers, deliver Salesforce training, help demonstrate the platform to prospective clients and stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new functionality.

This is a varied role combining Salesforce administration, configuration, customer support, training and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with external organisations to understand their business processes and information requirements.
  • Design and configure Salesforce CRM solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Provide second-line technical support to Salesforce users.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce databases.
  • Build reports and support customers with their data and reporting requirements.
  • Provide training to both technical and non-technical Salesforce users.
  • Demonstrate Salesforce functionality to prospective customers.
  • Support the day-to-day operation and development of the Salesforce platform.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and assess their potential impact.
  • Take ownership of designated areas of responsibility and support wider projects when required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider organisation and Salesforce team.
  • Manage your own workload, priorities and deadlines effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
