Senior Salesforce Administrator | Remote (UK)

Occasional travel to London/other office – typically 1–2 days per month (Expensed travel)

We’re working with a large, complex and rapidly growing organisation to hire a Senior Salesforce Administrator into a lean, in-house Salesforce team that owns the platform end-to-end. This is a genuinely hands-on role with plenty of scope to make an impact. The organisation has 850+ internal Salesforce users and is significantly expanding its use of the platform over the next 18 months. Alongside the existing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Account Engagement estate, there are major initiatives underway across Agentforce, Experience Cloud and Data 360, with further capabilities being explored.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Salesforce across the roadmap, projects and enhancements, while helping review the existing landscape and shape what the future Salesforce platform should look like.

The environment & culture

This part is important. It’s a fast-paced, evolving business where priorities can change quickly. The Salesforce team therefore needs people who are comfortable taking ownership, being proactive and getting stuck in rather than waiting to be told what to do. We’re looking for someone who is naturally proactive, curious and collaborative. You absolutely don’t need to agree with everything that has been done before. In fact, we want someone who is prepared to challenge existing thinking, identify better ways of working and ask “why are we doing it this way?”

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

But how you challenge matters: We want someone who approaches problems with curiosity and works alongside colleagues to improve things — someone who brings people with them rather than simply pointing out what’s wrong. If you enjoy taking ownership, asking good questions, solving problems and working collaboratively in an environment where there is plenty to do, you’ll likely enjoy this role.

What you'll be doing:

You'll take ownership across a broad Salesforce estate, including:

  • BAU administration, enhancements and project delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Account Engagement
  • Designing and optimising Flows, sub-flows and complex automation
  • Custom objects, fields, record types, layouts, permissions, validation rules and reporting
  • Data quality, deduplication, enrichment and governance
  • Supporting a wider Master Data Management programme
  • Salesforce security, SSO, MFA, OAuth and connected applications
  • Managing sandboxes, deployments and CI/CD using VS Code, Git, Azure DevOps and Gearset
  • Supporting Salesforce release planning, regression testing and adoption
  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical solutions
  • Proactively identifying and addressing technical debt
  • Helping review the existing Salesforce landscape and shape the future-state platform

You'll also need:

  • Strong Service Cloud administration experience
  • Excellent Salesforce Flow and automation capability
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience using VS Code within a Salesforce environment – this is an important requirement for the role
  • Hands-on experience with Git and Azure DevOps / CI/CD deployment processes
  • A strong understanding of Salesforce metadata and deployment dependencies
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model
  • Good data management, deduplication and data quality experience
  • Confidence working across both BAU and project/change activity
  • The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities can move quickly

Experience with Experience Cloud, Agentforce, Data 360, Account Engagement, Gearset, Salesforce CLI or LWC development would be particularly useful.
